Our 5-Phase Process
As your trusted partner, Tandem works collaboratively with you and your professional advisors to ensure the transition to profit sharing and/or direct employee ownership sets your business and your employees up for success.
Phase 1: Explore
Beginning with a free consultation, Tandem works to understand your goals while answering initial questions you may have about employee ownership and profit sharing.
Phase 2: Evaluate
With an understanding of company aspirations and ideal timelines from key players, Tandem will identify criteria for success and make recommendations on a path forward. If this path involves direct employee ownership and/or profit sharing, Tandem proceeds to phase three.
*If your company’s best path forward involves other types of employee ownership, Tandem will refer you to trusted experts in each respective type for implementation.
Phase 3: Design
This phase includes outlining preliminary program design, determining a value for the business, and establishing the financial model. Other milestones include getting feedback from key constituents, finalizing design, developing governing documents, and creating a communications rollout plan. The Tandem team provides examples and template documents to help streamline this process.
Phase 4: Implement
Tandem will aid in the launch of your newly established program, offering educational resources and additional support through the celebration of your initial “firsts,” such as your first profit sharing payout or first stock issuance.
Phase 5: Enhance
With your shared success program up and running, the final phase Tandem offers includes ongoing work to evaluate the program’s design and refine communication and education for your employees so everyone has a clear vision for the company’s future.
